  • Flex Hoof Boots

  • Cavallo Simple Hoof Boots

A long standing “classic” Cavallo boot. Many users say they are easy to put on, reliable in mixed terrain, and durable.

Best for/Trade offs: Good for general riding, trails, occasional tougher terrain. But in very rocky or high-stress use, some users report rubbing or fit challenges.

    Comes in Slim or Regular.

  • Cavallo Trek Pro Hoof Boots

One of the newer premium versions of the Trek Line. Designed with refined modern design and improved upper.

Best for/Trade offs: For riders who want updated materials, aesthetics, durability upgrades, while staying in the Trek family.

  • Cavallo Trek Regular Sole Hoof Boots

Highly rated (4.6/5 in many listings). They are marketed as flexible, breathable, and good for all terrain.

Best for/Trade offs: Good for trail riding, mixed surfaces, longer rides.

  • Cavallo Trek Slim Sole Hoof Boots

A variant of the Trek line for slightly narrower or slimmer hooves. Good “all terrain but slim profile” choice.

Best for/Trade offs: Useful when your horse’s hoof is narrower (or you prefer a tighter fit) but still want trail boot durability.

  • Cavallo Entry Level Boots

Often recommended as a “starter” or backup boot. Affordable, simple design. Many riders use them for occasional rides or as “spare” boots.

Best for/Trade offs: Good for light riding, for backup use, or for horses with fewer demands on boots. Probably less ideal for constant heavy or rocky use.

  • Cavallo Sport Regular Hoof Boots

Marketed toward more active/athletic riding (arena, sport). Some users prefer it for lighter rides or better “feel”.

Best for/Trade offs: Use in sport, jumping, arena work, lighter terrain. May not be as rugged for very rocky trails.

  • Cavallo Sport Slim Hoof Boots

A slimmer version of the Sport, for narrower hooves but with the same ride-friendly design.

Best for/Trade offs: Good if your horse’s hoof is narrower but you’d like the Sport Line.

  • Easy Boot Glove Soft

A very close-fitting, glove-style boot. It hugs the hoof like a second skin, has no external hardware, and is designed for mobility and minimal interference. Horses with well shaped hooves, more performance use, moderate terrain. Good when you want flexibility and less bulk.

Best for/Trade offs: May struggle in deep rocks, extreme abrasion, or with horses that have hoof shape challenges. Less protection in very rugged settings.

  • Easy Boot Back Country

A hybrid: combines the close fit and qualities of the “Glove” series with more protection and ease-of-use features from the “Trail” line.

Best for/Trade offs: Slightly heavier / more complex than a pure “Glove”; but may not match full protection of very rugged boots in extreme terrain.

  • Easy Boot Trail Original

An easy to use, general purpose hoof boot made for casual and trail riding. Its comfortable and forgiving on fit, designed for short to medium distance rides or turnouts.

  • Easy Boot Trail (2015)

One of the classic, general purpose boots. It opens wide like the Trail Original for a variety of hoof shapes and offers decent protection for moderate trail use.

Best for/Trade offs: The zipper is a structural element that can wear or fail; potentially less robust than fully plain shell boots in extreme conditions.

  • Easy Boot Sneaker

One of Easy Care’s most flexible, shock absorbing boot designs to allow the hoof to move more naturally. Ideal for light riding, turnout, or even therapy. Offers good grip and comfort for casual miles on mixed terrain.

Best for/Trade offs: Best for riders wanting a softer, more natural feel rather than rigid protection. These boots tend to wear faster in rocky or long distance use and provides less protection than heavier, stiffer boots.

  • Old Mac G-2 Multi-Purpose Hoof Boot

The Old Mac G-2’s are a sturdy, multipurpose boot that balances shock protection and durability for everyday or moderate riding.

Best for/Trade offs: Best used when you need a bit more support and aren’t pushing extreme distances, but it demands good fit and may feel more cumbersome than more minimalist boots.

  • Easy Boot Epic

A boot designed for aggressive terrain, tougher conditions. It has robust protection, sometimes with gaiters to prevent debris intrusion.

Best for/Trade offs: Great for horses who struggle keeping boots on, tough terrain, muddy or rocky trails, extreme use scenarios. Trade offs are, the bulk, weight, possibly less “barefoot feel” than lighter boots. May also be more expensive, and fit is more critical under strenuous loads.

  • Easy Boot Glove 50

The Easyboot Glove 50 is built on the Easyboot Glove shell but replaces the fabric gaiter with a urethane heel sling covered in neoprene. The Glove 50 is easy to apply and remove. If you've previously used and liked the Glove Soft hoof boots, which are designed to be a lightweight, low-profile boot that clings to the hoof to keep debris out, even in sandy and muddy conditions, you should consider trying the Glove 50.

Best for/Trade offs: More secure and debris-resistant than older Glove models (front strap + urethane heel sling vs fabric gaiter). Parts are replaceable; durable in rough trail/endurance use. Trade offs are, they require more precise fitting (shell size + heel height) for success. They are more complex (straps/hooks) may be fiddlier than simple gaiters. Not ideal for horses with very high heels, and adjustment is limited (~5-6mm)

Therapy:

  • Easy Boot Cloud

The Easyboot Cloud is a therapy hoof boot designed to give comfort and support to horses with laminitis, thin soles, abscesses, or founder. Cloud therapy boots provide instant and ongoing relief for chronic lameness and general lower limb or hoof problems. Not intended for riding or exercise (therapy use only).

Trade offs: Velcro/straps wear down over time, reducing how securely they hold on. Can cause rubbing at the heels. Ventilation/”Air holes” may not be very effective, possibly leading to moisture buildup, dampness, or reduced breathability.

  • Easy Boot Remedy (Soaking Boot)

The Easyboot Remedy is a strong, waterproof, and flexible short-style horse boot perfect for hoof soaking and ice therapy. Made with material that stretches 360° and natural rubber overlays, application and removal are a cinch. For our tall boot option, check out the Easyboot Ultimate Remedy.

Trade offs: Not built for riding, or rough terrain. Very loose fit to provide room for water, soaking, ice, therapy.

It's an excellent choice for horses on stall rest or confined to light turnout. Not intended for riding or exercise (therapy use only).

Trade Offs: Not intended for riding or intense exercise-they are designed for therapeutic, stall, or limited turnout use. Ventilation/”Air holes” may not be very effective, possibly leading to moisture buildup, dampness, or reduced breathability.

  • Easy Boot Rx2

The Easyboot Rx2 is a robust, lightweight therapy hoof boot. The Rx2 has an integrated RE midsole (Rubber/EVA blend), keeping the hoof close to the ground. The rockered bottom offers built in mechanics like a roller. The rubber bottom can be modified to best suit the horses needs. Easy on and off with a wide opening and pull strap. The close-fitting, padded upper supports the pastern area while minimizing dirt and debris from entering the boot. The Rx2 provides comfort and support for stabling on hard ground, trailering, laminitis, thin soles, founder, and other chronic lameness. Not intended for riding or exercise (therapy use only).

Trade Offs: Not intended for riding/exercise use. The closure/upper fit design causes the fit to be close, and a lack of correct fit can cause rubbing, or debris ingress. .
